I'm looking for a brush to replace an older Weck that I love (but the handle is disintegrating). It has a very tight, rather short, flat-topped badger knot. It's great for scrubbing and deep lathering. But most of the quality brushes I see now favor large, swooshy knots. Great for slathering on the lather, not so much for getting at those whisker roots.
What would be a good recommendation for such a brush? I'm not fussy about the grade of badger, as long as the knot is tight and packed with lots of hair. And if I can get that flat-top shape, so much the better.
TIA,
