Hello, I have 3 straight razors I am going to part with. They were purchased to practice honing on. They all shave well, and would be considered shave ready by me. I am not a professional, just having fun. I have shaved with them, then touched them up on a 12k Superstone, followed by .3 chromium oxide on felt, stropped 60 laps on leather.
These would all make good first Razors, or for honing practice.
#1. J.R. Torrey extra hollow ground, red acrylic scales from whipped dog. Has some hone wear, I honed with 1 layer tape. $35
#2 F.A. Koch&Co .. Blue Steel, made in Germany, Black scales. Very little hone wear. $30
#3 E. Frost, Blue Steel, Made in Germany.. Green scales, Very little hone wear. $30
