A friend of mine found some razors at his house. They used to belong to his grandfather and since my friend has a nice full beard he has no use for them.
They are a Schick Golden 500, an old Gillette TTO with no date stamp, and Gillette Superslim Adjustable with the black handle, it has a date code of Z3, which is 3rd quarter of 79 correct? I do not have the adjustable yet, he just found it tonight, but he brought the other two over the other day. They were pretty gross from years of neglect, but I was able to do a pretty good job cleaning them up. The Schick looks like it hasn't been used at all, its very nice. The Gillette TTO was in really rough shape, but I was able to get it about 98% clean. It has a little plating loss, but overall is in good shape. I shaved with it this morning and it was very nice, but the short handle took some getting used to. I can't use the Schick until I get some injector blades which I cannot seem to find anywhere in my area.
