Thoughts on the new Delta Fusion nib

I do not have one, but according to Doc Brow's review the nib is very smooth and pleasant to use. He uses a stub in the video, and the writing looks great!

I played with two at the Dallas Pen show last year. One was totally unimpressive - the other was nice and wet. I think the gold thing is just for marketing. It looks cool - but I wouldn't get one just b/c of how it's made. You can see the edge of the gold plate - I'm guessing it's held onto the steel nib with little tabs that go into little slots in the steel and fold under. One of the nibs was just barely loose and it was all I could do to resist pulling the nib to examine it. I had to hand it back quick. :)

I have a brown Fusion 82 (actually the one that was in the FPGeeks article) and it is an excellent writer. Forget the marketing hype, forget the gold bit on the nib, it really writes well, and better than any steel nib I have. The gold makes it look pretty. :) If I'm allowed, I could post my review of the pen, but not sure if that is ok here.
