Thoughts and prayers to south Oklahoma city tornado victims

Prayers for everybody affected. The aerial footage is unreal. I know a lot of Oklahoma residents have storm shelters and I can only hope that is true for the areas hit.

I hope all (and our members too), in Oklahoma City, the region and other affected cities & states are OK and safe. Heart wrenching images. Shocking, with great sadness, grief and hope all in one emotion.

My thoughts, cares and prayers are with you always. Don't lose faith because God is watching over you from a distance!

Thanks on behalf of my fellow Oklahomans for the well wishes and prayers. I'm afraid the news is getting worse for now.

I am a meteorologist with 22 yrs exp, mostly in KS and FL. The only thing I have seen do that much damage was Andrew in 92. I watched this one happen live on TV. Stunningly destructive. Hopefully most people heard the warnings and took cover.

The main tornado getting all of the news followed the same path that destroyed the same area in 1999. Today was just bad. Even I spent from 3:45-4:30 in a stairwell on the 9th floor as we waited for a tornado to pass by the south side of town.
