This razor any good?

The metal content is what made me thin these might have a shot at being ok. The seller describes it as "Damascus Steel Composition: 15N20 and 1095." Are these even the right steels to mix (I know 1095, but not the other), and are there other damaskas razors that do function?

Seen those around, can't get over the shape...not my thing. How would you hone it, anyway? Need tape, since it doesnt look hollow ground, but how stick tape to that spine shape?

i made this mistake... i got a nice set of scales out of the deal.... the blade/metal was chit *(replace the c with a s)....

Yes, but they cost what you would expect a damascus straight to cost: $400-1k+
