What's new

This one deserves its own thread - best brush ever

I'm biased I know but I think my daughter knocked this out of the park!

We started with an old Solid Set with a bad paint job - sanded to bare wood .

My 15 year old daughter came up with the design and painted it herself.

I put on the poly and installed a Shave Forge 20mm Silvertip badger knot.

Introducing Trufflehunter!!!

Could knot have been more pleased with the way this felt - both as a brush and the pure joy of pride!

My younger daughters brush is coming together. A few more coats of paint today, poly tomorrow AM and the knot tomorrow night!

My younger daughter designed and painted this one - with a little help from Dad with the painters taping.

She also chose the synthetic brush for it - she liked how soft it is. (Shave Forge 20mm Synthetic Silvertip)

She says no name for it because that's silly.

Tried to convince her it would be easier to do the white and red horizontally but she wanted them vertically because that looks more like the Canadian flag from the side..

NOTE: She, her sister, and my wife are all dual Canadian-US citizens and we are in the process of moving to Canada this spring when my work visa process.
