What's new

This Never Gets Old

20 minutes of expensive and fiddly hand assembly in a first world country, and they cheap out on the materials. Yeesh. No wonder it's discontinued.

Nothing cheap about the materials. Zamac was used in US firearms, is still used in automobiles, locks and golf clubs, to name a few. The Vision was discontinued because people were to dumb to clean it: just put it aside shave after shave and then wonder why it won't open as smoothly anymore. Then they sent it back to Merkur, who then rinsed the razor under hot water, and sent it back. THAT was the too expensive part.
