This is wrong on so many levels

Fridays are Fishtastic!
But in an office setting unless I witnessed the cutting even if urs with a knife I think it's a safe bet that hands were used. I doubt an office move included a surgical strike. I could see maybe cutting it in half but in a public office setting its unacceptable. I notice people who don't wash their hands after using a public restroom. Living with a person with a lowered immune system has made me sensitive to these issues.
On the other hand, even if the donut is there uncut, how does one know that someone's mitts haven't been on it? I guess it is a risk you take. Personally, I won't leave a cup of tea or water unattended, because someone could spit in it and I wouldn't know. Do I think someone I work with might do that? I don't really think so. But, then again, when they find the latest serial killer, his neighbors always tell the news what a nice guy he appeared to be.

I often paw through a box of donuts before choosing the one I want.

You can't judge a donut by looks alone, you have to get a feel for it first..
