Or is it supposed to be grey, I can't quite tell from the picture and none of my pipes have ever got this bad. I'm presuming it's oxidisation and should clean up fine with a little TLC.

Not the worst one I have seen. I have seen much worse resurrected to a fine deep black finish. Despair not!

Not bad for the money is it? All my briars tend to be basically the same colour and I thought this one would make a nice change.
I wonder what kind accent is on the stummel. Very nice pipe.

This is the only other angle of it I have ATM
I'll take some more detailed pics when it arrives and I've cleaned it up a bit, I'll stick em in the acquisition thread, probably the end of next week
I haven't been able to find out too much about this particular pipe, the company has a decent entry in Pipeipedia and I've found another Lorenzo branded a "TV Pipe" but that one has a really long wavy strange stem on it and it's far smaller.
