That's great. Thanks for sharingShave #1 Grandpa Setup.
For special occasions I break out the Grandpa's shave gear.
Grandpa's Seaforth shave mug with a puck of unknown soap 50 plus years old and still work great.
Grandpa's shave brush basic nylon no name
Merkur Razor with Schick Plus Platinum blade.
Captian's Choice copper shave bowl, this thing is great.
Old Spice cologne Pre 1970. I picked this up after I found out that Grandpa used to use it.
Shave was vary good and the memories this setup brings me puts a smile on my face.

This is my first experience with a Schick Injector and I had planned to use it for the week, but decided to see how many decent shaves I could get with the blade. I can become better acquainted with the razor and satisfy my curiosity about blade longevity all at once. I'll probably dial it back to two-pass shaves to ensure the blade makes it past the typical two week DE/SE benchmark.
No, it's only a 28mm knot but it looks larger because the handle is relatively short (~45mm).By the beard of Jiminy Cricket - is that a 40mm brush? It looks HUUuuuuge!
