Thinning the wardrobe

Two thoughts. Have kept clothing over long periods of time waiting for the day when I will fit into them again. Beginning to realize that that isn't going to happen. Second, read somewhere not too long ago that the largest component of U.S. trash is cloth. Interesting.
About to send 45 shirts off to the Op Shop. Some have not seen the light of day for quite some time. Still have that many plus, but it is a start. For too many clothes in my wardrobe. Kept buying clothes and not discarding the old clothes. Baby steps.
Yeah, I was thinking, it is not my wardrobe that needs to be thinned, but myself.
