I'd suggest for a decent kit that doesn't break the bank, halocigs has a few options, and I found that their tobacco flavored juice is some of the closest you'll find to an actual cigarette. I used their triton system to start out.

Funnily I started off with those as well. However they are incredibly out dated now and their proprietary threading is a huge pain.
They sell adapters now that would convert thier older batteries to be to use 510s and I believe e-gos connections as well.
Ah interesting, didn't know that. I'd still recommend a basic box mod, and mini Nautilus for a more higher end starter kit.
