My favorite blades may not be someone else's favorite. However, at this point in time, I like best 1] Feather 2] Super Nacet 3] Shark 4] Astra green in that order. This I arrived at after trying a dozen or more brands of blades.
Thinking hard about a Henson AL13

@bill64 I too would recommend trying it with a sharper blade. The Henson doesn't work well for my whiskers with a smooth blade, I need a sharp one, then it shines. For me, Nacets work very well.
I tried Astra,Gillette blue, Bic. Not good so far.
I didn't like the feel of an all aluminum razor, but I've only tried one, i.e., the RR Lupo DE Aluminum. I could look but is the Henson a bit heavier?
If I was going to go down that route, I suspect the Yates "Winning razor" would be a better choice for me.

The Henson sort of sucks itself down onto your face with longer strokes for great cutting efficiency.
If any US folks are considering a Henson, Razor Emporium has their 15% off sale, it is the cheapest way to get a new Henson. I highly recommend the Henson razors and buying them through the Razor Emporium deal!
