"Can't Raise an Eyebrow"
I've recently had a change in thoughts on barrel length for a lightweight AR upper. While a longer barrel will help with long range ballistics, I think that a shorter barrel will be fine for short and medium range hunting. Plus, I already have long range builds in both 6.5G and 6.5CM. So, my upcoming build will feature a 16 in. barrel. There are those who even go with 14 in. or shorter for short range hunting, but I don't want to deal with any SBR hassles at this moment.

Shooting with a can on it should help velocities with a 16” barrel just a smidgen.

At least this is what I’m hoping for.
