I know Gillette was king of the shaving world for many years. I know they had to have plants/factories in different countries, but I’m wondering if there were any razor differences between countries? For example, I read that there are a few razors made in England, which are a bit more aggressive than their American counterparts. Anyone know? I’ve been collecting old Gillette’s, so I’m also wondering if there ever were any Fatboy’s made in, say Japan? Or a Mexican Aristocrat? Or a Canadian Red tip? And if there were, are there any differences? I don’t know the history of Gillette, but since I’m now collecting them, I’m interested. Thanks for any info!

Gillette had several factories in the UK, they employed hundreds and made more than a few razors. There was a main facility at Brentford that you can find many photos of.
