The Wolverine Shaves! (spoiler alert)

Just watched the new Wolverine movie, and he shaves with either an Edwin Jagger or Muhle R89. That is all. No other spoilers. Good movie, though.

Have DE/Straight razors always been in movies and we've never noticed them until we picked up the hobby or is this a new thing that movie dudes have started to add???

I for one never noticed until recently.

I guess it makes sense! Wolverine was born sometime in the late 1800's right? He's probably been shaving with a DE for over a century!

I noticed that also. I don't know what kind of lather they put on him, but it looked really bad.

Watched it yesterday and noticed immediately! I'm also wondering if its not just me that notices it more now that I use straights/DE. Either that, or its becoming "in" so they put it in movies!
