I spend a fair amount time looking at soaps and creams, and aftershaves, and blades, etc...for a while my wife just rolled her eyes at me. But now recently, she took interest! She used my Merkur HD a few times and once she got the hang of it a little, she liked it! Which is awesome because she uses gillette multi-blade monstrosities that cost $$$.
I am thinking Christmas is perfect to get her a razor of her own, maybe like a small starter kit. I was looking for advice either from the few women here or anybody on a good razor. I like the HD I have, but maybe adjustable would be better for her, so she can turn it down a little.
As far as creams/soaps go, it seems like sticks would be useful for shaving a leg, easier to just rub then lather everywhere, as opposed to cream from a tub. Ideas?
I am excited because I haven't really had an opportunity to really surprise her, she is not expecting to get one at all..
