The Weirdest thing ...

I noticed some redness with my shaves every 36 hours. So I spaced them out even further to every two days... oddly enough, still the same amount of redness. So this week, to try something different, i began doing two passes every day ... and low and behold ... less redness ... weird!

I think that when you wait more than a day between shave your beard gets thicker. By shaving more often, you eliminate the need for more aggressive beard removal.

I'm a noob when it comes to wet shaving, but perhaps it could be the blade you've been using? My thought could lie with the blade perhaps isn't right for you or is too dull? But I'm sure you know more than I, hope I could be of some help!

I can shave every day and feel comfortable, but in general my shaves never feel smoother than after 2 or 3 days of growth. The main difference is since the beard is longer, unless you take your time and prep it right, it is more likely to pull the hair which could cause the irritation you speak of.

Just a thought.
