That's not Lilac VegetAL by Pinaud, that's Lilac VegetOL, made by Masters (of the Bay Rum fame). Your local barber supply store will probably carry it. It's different than the Veg, though--a bit more lilac and a bit less veg if you ask me (...and no overtones of cat pee and dirty diapers!)

The masters does smell like lilacs, but for me - it's way too sweet and doesn't have that "earthiness" that Pinaud does.

To me, it smells like boosters, but more candy-like.
It's hard to explain, but it's like the difference between genuine lime smell and the sweet candy-lime smell from some products.

Agree, I don't like the Masters at all.
