Thank you everyone for the kind words. It was not to difficult to do once you get into it. I would encourage anyone to try and just measure twice.....there was a choice word when I screwed up some square wood stock and i had to make another trip to the home improvement store. The worst that could happen is it ends up in the scrap pile or you lose a finger (a lot of the time they can be reattached)
I'm about to post 2 travel razors I had handy tonight that I but in the display case, more will be put in soon

I was very excited when I came home tonight. I received my acrylic stands so I did a quick staging of my display cabinet. There is much more playing and arranging to do in the case and soon I will most picture of a final display. Here are the pictures from tonight

thank you, I may have some more progress pictures tonight. My nickel hinges came also came in, I hope to get the upper door glass installed and hung tonight.....I also need to replace the current zinc hinges on the two bottom doors. I may need to redo the door dimensions and repaint to get them to work. The new hinges are about 2/8th thicker and may affect the gap causing the door to jam on opening and closing

bummer the nickel hinges will not work.....I guess I will paint the zinc hinges, it will look ok but the nickel hinges would have been great

Ah, I spotted a change in your design. You deleted the two small glass doors pictured in the first five pictures. Replaced with open bay. Nice. Love the Barber Sign. Good job.

as you can see i frosted the textured glass on the upper doors to hide my consumables....next I will be installing some chains next on the barber shop door so I can use it as a platform for mugs, scuttle and other stuff that is in use when I shave
Great piece. But just one question - it appears you have almost filled your allotment of razor slots.

well actually they are already filled I just took some out for the work I was doing.....nice problem to have right!
