Yes, broke a rib on her left flank as it did so. Hornady A-Max 178 grain boat tail ballistic tip out of a Remington 700 AAC-SD Tactical with a 1 in 10 rate of twist on a 20 inch barrel. The holes were neat and clean. The exit about the size of a half dollar. Pierced both lungs and her liver. Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 mil/mil scope.

I just harvested this typical South Texas 8 pointer. He was a big bodied 6.5 - 7.5 year old. He dressed out at 165 lbs (and wet because the sendero was muddy and kicked up a bunch of mud as we were trying to head back to the ranch house so we hosed him down...)

Nice rack!

Duck's great eating if you like dark meat and strong taste. I even like those mergansers.

Western Coleman County's the spot.

Taken at 10pm 5/10/14 in Smithville, OK with a .308 Howa 1500 Ranchland model, Federal PowerShock 180gr soft point at 40 yards in the dark. I had an Elusive Wildlife green LED tactical weapon light attached to the Howa to light him up.

Approximately 275 lbs.

My son got this little doe yesterday on opening day of the youth gun hunt. He's still got a buck tag to fill yet.

Nice Veal Jason- should be mighty tasty!
Indeed! The way he's been filling deer tags, I may skip deer season and find a place to hog hunt. They haven't pushed into my part of the state quite yet, but they're not far away.
