Hey Steve, let me ask you a serious question. Do you think that brush handles like this could be made on a mini lathe? I wanna get a lathe to make yoyos and brush handles, but I don't want to buy a serious LATHE. SO, do you think a mini lathe would be a good starting point for those projects? I just don't know whether the mini lathe will handle this?

No problem for a mini lathe . You could make any brush wood or resin.
I still have My old mini lathe that my son bought me for my birthday in 2016. The one that I use now is considered a midi lathe.
