The Stick?

Oh that thing is real and it works. It's the same idea as using a foam roller. Ignore the stick fitness system price and the rest are about right.
 
I have been doing this for about 15 years now using the top half of an old cue stick. It definitely works, but don't spend the amount of money they want you to spend.

As Pebcak mentioned foam rolling feels great also, for that I use a rolling pin I mooched from my mom a few years ago.
 
just cruised thru this thread and wanted to add my .02 worth. sticks are fine. i use them for legs while watching tv if i'm too sore to crawl over to a foam roller, which i think is the cat's meow for recovery. but as stated, a rolling pin would do the trick as well
 
I use to use this and it does work. It's nothing magical other than an easier way to get blood circulating for recovery. Something you can do with about any massage.

I use the stick in addition to a baseball and a foam roller. cheaper than a massage, although one every once in a while never goes astray
 
baseball eh? Never thought of that. Depending on the area I have a golfball, tennis ball, and lacrosse ball to work with.

yeah I like the larger size of a baseball/softball to a cricket ball, and no deathly seam through the middle either.

I have two golf balls taped together but I find they are too small to get good leverage with.

A lacrosse ball would be good too.
