Today’s duty free find at the Bangkok airport. I haven’t had a bottle of this since I stopped flying to Mexico in 2017.

I wish I'd brought a bottle or two back from Greece (of all places).
I was killing time at the store and remembered Naked Grouse was on my to try list. So that and an IPA. The scotch surprised me. It’s quiet nice for a blend and it’s affordable. Don’t know why I waited so long?
Another trip, another duty free bottle. Slowly rebuilding the liquor cabinet.

They changed the design, the Grouse was on there originally. And it is a good one!
Wine is exorbitantly priced in Thailand so when we saw this 12 bottle sampler case for $219 at the embassy store, we picked up a case. Anyone recognize any of these bottles?

Picked up a Russell's Reserve 10 at the lowest price I have ever seen it ($28 at Newport Kroger for anyone in Cincinnati area!) plus a store pick of Old Scout 107

Grabbed a few bottles today. Tin cup, early times bib, and tullamore dew irish whiskey. Excited to try these.
Picked up a few bottles at Costco today. This is the first time I’ve seen the Islay in stock.

I would love to get my grubby little hands on a bottle of Dickel BiB but it doesn’t ever make it over the pond…
For a while it was allocated and impossible to find around here, but it seems like it’s been around pretty consistently for the last 6 months.

How do you like it?
I haven't tried the BiB and will probably be cracking the 8yr either tonight or tomorrow. I’ve never been a huge Dickel fan, the Charcoal filtering just seems to take something from the bourbon. Maybe this and the BiB, both of which have won numerous awards, will change my mind.

I liked the No.12? 90 proof well enough but something was missing. I thought a higher proof would resolve this but perhaps it’s the filtering as you said…
I've only had one occasion to try the Dickel BiB, and I found it delicious.
When I was at Party Source in Newport, KY they had some bottles of O.K.I. Reserve Batch 1 so I picked one up.
O.K.I. was a brand started by New Riff (sourced from MGP) while they were waiting for the bourbon they distilled to age enough to sell. Apparently it has returned.
I am including both front and back label pictures since this has more info on the bottle than most. It is a mix of MGPs main mashbills. Since I've had a number of MGP things I've liked a lot (Angels Envy Rye, Barrell, Whistle Pig old world rye) I figured it was worth the gamble to buy it blind.

My first Single Malt - Single Cask @cask strength bottling of the season 
Picked this up at Costco today. This is the second release of JD’s BiB “series.” The original BiB was one of the better releases I’ve had from JD and I’ve heard good things about this one.
Stopped by the local store to pick up a few cold beers and decided on some Rare Breed instead.
