I Waxed The Badger.
I tend to like Simpson's take on the loft:diameter ratio. I think a lot of early synths needed loft so as feel somewhat more like a traditional brush.
The Simpson Trafalgar T2 is the best synthetic I have ever used.

Saw the T1 on a lark while browsing on Amazon. Saw the price and thought it looked like a pretty good deal. Came here and read the positive posts on the Trafalgar line.
Now, I can't wait to try it!

So, I ordered the T1 and then the T3. The T1 is a bit small for my taste to use daily, but makes a great travel razor. I used it for a week and but it in my Dopp kit.
The T3 is marvelous!! Wow, it's a keeper for sure and a great bargain for $29. It could be my daily driver. Soft, but has enough backbone to scrape up soap from the puck. Splays nicely on the face. Highly recommended.

The Simpson T2 is very similar in size and shape to the Simpson Duke 3. I find this size perfect for my face. The T2 is a great value. It holds water better than other synthetics. Good backbone. I like that it’s a tiny bit scrubby instead of ultra plush.
My Trafalgar 1 works really well and is a pleasure to use. I would be happy if it was my one and only brush.
