Thank you,

Ok The razor got here and I just did a late night shave.
I started it out with a number 4 plate.
I got a DFS with two passes.
This is a very heavy razor.
I have to be very careful with it as my hands get tremors and lock up.
With a heavy razor like this it could be problems which is why I wanted to try it out.
I find it to be a very well made razor.
The next shave I will start it with a no 2 plate and then flip it to the no 4 side for clean up.
I am glad I read the instructions first to see which way to place the plates.
I like starting off the shave on my adjustables at around 2 then up around 5 for the clean up.
For those of you that have the 6c, what do you think of the finish?
This razor looks to be able to last a few life times and wars.
I like that, just not the weight.
All in all there's very little not to like about this razor.
It is a better build then a lot of razors out there and it shaves very easy.
Nice and smooth.
With all that weight you just let the razor do the work.
Well I check back in a couple of days.
I shave every other day.
Shaving this late at night throws it off some.
I just did not want to wait.

Great thread guys, I was tempted to jump on the reserve list, but couldn't resist the call and just ordered an 6s. So far I have only used vintage razors, this will be my first modern purchase.

Well I have to say I like this razor.
It is too heavy for me but it shaves wonderfully.
Today I started it out on a three for the first past. I found that it was almost as easy as using my slim adjustable etc.
I switched to the no 5 plate for the second pass.
I then flipped the plate to finish on the no 6 side of he plate.
It was a very easy BBS.
A very clean and smooth shave.
Wednesday I will do the same routine and then I will clean it up to send it along.
So scarver PM me your whereabouts.

scarver does not seem to be available and has not been heard from since Jan8
I will hold on to it for a couple of days to see if he shows up.
Then it will be up to GlazedBoker to decide what to do.

If no response by Wednesday, will push the next one up on the list which would be @Griever
and go from there. I will try and contact @scarver and see if he is still interested. Thank you...

Well I'm going to have to rethink this.
Today was the day of giants.
I used the Whipped Dog Butterscotch Handle brush out of the pass around box.
It's the biggest in the box.
For synthetics I thought I was going to lean towards a smaller Knot.
This knot is 30mm.
It's a biggie.
I absolutely love it.
I used it with the Rockwell 6s pass around razor.
I took the top cap from my Merkur razor, used the base plates along with my Falcon razor Handle.
That handle is a monster.
I'm not sure how much it weights but it's a bunch.
Great shave with both.
Now I have to rethink my thoughts on the big and heavy stuff.
Plus I used RazoRock The Freedburg soap this time instead of Mudder Focker.
There is a big difference in slickness between the two with Mudder Focker winning hands down.
I also noticed that the razor with using the Merkur cap on it was slicker also.
I had to try it both ways to be sure.
Ended up with a delightful BBS.

I was trying not to like this razor because of the weight.
When my hands begin to shake the weight of the razor along with them sometimes jerking cause the blade to bite deep into my cheeks etc.
Well if I shave when everything has settled out, I have no problem with it.
Today I got a BBS with the original blade I started out [ a Nacet] with 6 shaves on.
I did use Mudder Focker shave soap which is slick.
I started off with one pass using the no 3 base plate.
I then shifted to the no 5 for the next pass.
I then used the no 6 base plate to finish it off.
I am really liking this razor but I think that I would buy the 6c instead.
I tried it with the chrome cap from my Merkur and it seemed to me to be slicker.
I wish someone would do a Rockwell 6c tour.
I like it better then my slim which I thought was better.
I think there is very little difference in the energy and time between the two changing to a different setting.
The no 6 base plate seems more efficient than the slim on the highest setting.
I will do my last shave on Monday and ship it along to Griever
Thanks Gus I have really enjoyed the use of the razor
It has opened my eyes up to the possibility of using a razor like the 6s against my other adjustables...
I have not tried it out against my Merkur Futur Clone as I have waited to the end of the tour to do a comparison.
It did knock the slim off the podium.
Will it do the same against the Futur?
We'll have to wait to see.
I will let you know later next week.
