As stated in another thread, I have been wet shaving for about a year. Thanks to this forum I have picked up a lot of great gear. My favorite forums to visit here are the Shaving Soaps (love trying new soaps) and the Shaving Brushes. Initially I dipped my toes into the wet shaving world by picking up a WD Silvertip (love the brush). As I learned more, I began to wonder if I was missing something by not having more "backbone".
Initially I never saw myself spending money on "just a brush". What a mistake! 3 months ago after reading great reviews about the Simpson Duke 3, I took the plunge and purchased one for myself. Holy cow! I love the lather it creates and the backbone and feel on my face is amazing. Consider my SBAD cured...until I find another I must have!

By the way, unfortunately, you'll never cure SBAD! Don't ask me how I know!
