Gents,

As the title suggests, my partner is travelling to Washington this weekend...and we live in London.

So, any recommendations on shaving products she should pick up for me?

Pretty happy with my hardware set up..34c / feather blades..but always looking to experiment with soaps, creams, aftershaves etc!

Any recommendations appreciated.

Ha! I'm afraid it works the other way around: we come to your country to stock up on shaving goodies!

I'm sure others will have more helpful suggestions than I, but I would say consider stocking up on anything you use that is available more cheaply over here . Can you get Pinaud goodies in the UK? That could be worth checking out, as could Art of Shaving.

The only thing we have you don't is quality drugstore aftershaves. Pretty much any pharmacy/drugstore/chain store will have some combination of Aqua Velva, Brut, Old Spice, Thayers, etc.


And you can buy Art of Shaving soaps and save the overseas shipping.

GNC, a vitamin store, carries it. Also, Vitamin Shoppe at some locations, and Whole Foods Grocery in certain stores.

I'm really having trouble thinking of anything worth picking up here. The stuff is cheap and the exchange rate is in your favor, so I guess you're not losing much to try it. Have you tried our famous Williams shaving soap?

EDIT: Oh! How 'bout some Macca Root cream from The Body Shop? That store can be found in almost any mall.

I live in Arlington (a mile away actually) and I don't think there's anywhere around here that I know of that carries it.
