Out of all the sights and sounds of NOLA...no visit not to miss and to 'cap-off' your stay is in the Old Absinthe House on 240 Bourbon Street (and also a culinary & absinthe journey).

We stop in there whenever we get the chance. It's a fun spot.

However, I cannot recommend their Sazerac. It's pretty rough. For that, had across Canal and up a bit to the Sazerac Room at the Roosevelt. Their Sazerac is sublime (as is their Ramos Gin Fizz and everything else they do).

Great spot!! (We haven’t been in awhile, but it has always been a highlight.)
