Famex made that razor, for their brand of course but it was also sold under the "RazVite" and "Bougies USA" brand.

I really don't know much. The "Bougies USA" version is known but extremely rare, congrats on getting one with case !!

Here's another version of the Famex/Razvite/Bougles USA razor, called an Autofix. On the plate it says "Soligen", "S.G.D.G." and also has "Bonsa" and "Famex" (stamped one over the other). Must be some kind of story to this one, given it's got indications of being both German and French at the same time!

Wuttig Razor, from Germany (not Solingen, but from a city near the Swiss border apparently). Aluminum. Extremely light in weight, and an unusual light green colour. Seems to have quite a modern design, to my eye, yet is definitely vintage.

Famex was a Solingen brand, produced by Bontgen&Sabin, who also made Bonsa, with the cagerazor apparently intended for the French market: the cagerazors are not that common in Germany.
In France lots of razors were used for advertising, or given away. So is your autofix.
