I'll take part tomorrow when I buy my next batch of bananas (which I happen to buy at Walmart all the time, even though they seem to spoil faster than the ones at Publix).
I didn't take a picture, but wrote a love note on the banana for my wife. I used a toothpick (it was an extra fine Point). Several minutes later the black began to show up. She thought it was cute....
Pics or it didn't happen! lol
Thanks Christopher! Incidentally... I think it's time for some new bananas.
LOL I have two sets, the set I eat and the set I smash into a bowl for banana walnut pancakes.
Is this going to be a new club?! 
do i need to tell that i tried one , however i didnt try with my fountain pen.. tried with a cheap ball point- Thread starter

Actually fresh banana parchment performs best with a cheap ball point. There's a lovely springiness to the skin that makes even the cheapest ball point feel smooth.
Though I love my fountain pens, we're not really feeling the true banana power as the nib doesn't have to dig into the surface as you do with a ball point....

I try to write on a banana, but I keep drawing dirty pictures.
I looked on Amazon but they wanted to sell me the elephant dung paper.
