The Nib acquisitions for 2022

Wow, that's nice! Where did you find that gem and did it have a box or case? Sentinel model, right?
It was listed on EBay as a restored Sheaffer Snorkel Sentinel. The seller had several Snorkels, and, they all looked good. It functions as it should, and, writes well. There was no case with this one.

I got these in over the last few days.
The vacumatic Parker “51” is a restored pen in Cedar Blue with a medium nib. This one came from parker51.com. The inks, Diamine Pelham Blue and Waterman Mysterious Blue are both nice. My hunt continues though, as they are both darker than I’d prefer. The Rhodia Notebook came in last week.

Yesterday I received a older Parker Jotter and a nib/feed assembly for a Parker 45.

Today a Lamy 2000 with a F nib arrived unceremoniously tossed in a bag. No instructions just the pen. Lamy’s American site doesn’t have them listed among their pen instructions. It is obvious enough and I can search, but, I guess those luxuries only come when you pay full price.

Ink samples:
Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-Peki
Diamine Havasu Turquoise
Monteverde Capri Blue
Random color: Diamine Deep Magenta
30ml Diamine Mediterranean Blue
3x A4 notepads/notebook Clairefontaine, Rhodia, Mnemosyne
B7 notepad Mnemosyne
Also a 12 pen case I have now half filled with fountain pens.
Oh a loupe, another rubber grip strip, and, some silicone grease. I have so much ink now, mostly blues. Unless one of the samples really knocks me out I won’t be ordering for a while. There is another pen I want. Another vintage slip cap piston filler. I will wait till after I move.

Just what @silverlifter said. it has been a long time since i disassembled a 45 nib unit. My recollection is that you unscrew the unit, and then push the nib and feed through the collar. The nib is teeny tiny.
@Jut, @silverlifter I have disassembled the nib of the 45. It is all gold, so it seems. There is only PARKER written on the hidden narrow part. no indication of Ks

Remember to forget me!
Two more Parker IM pens just arrived.

The Blue Grey is a medium, and the Black Chrome is a fine. That takes me up to four of these pens now. The two I already had are both fine nibbed, so it's nice to get a medium too.

They were accompanied by a Kensington Red Parker Jotter fountain pen in medium nib. Metal bodied, not the usual plastic.

All three cost £29 delivered, and as usual they came with one cartridge each. No converter.

Where do you find them for such great prices?

Somewhat sacrilege, but I've ordered a cartridge fountain pen. I always enjoyed the somewhat ritualistic nature of inking a pen, however practicality wise at work can be an issue, so I've ordered a secondhand Montblanc 147 LeGrande as they're now discontinued.

It will be my first Montblanc fountain pen so I am excited to get a feel for the nib. I have pretty much exclusively used Pelikan so it will be interesting to see the differences.

Cheaper than ink

You could always fit the 147 with a converter if you want to get that good old-time feeling. :001_tongu

Congrats on the new pen!
