I recall that not working out too well in 1973. How did we lose that series?
It could be argued, how did the Mets beat the Reds?
That was the first postseason I really watched in depth.
I remember Bert Campaneris as the devil in the World Series.
Many still argue about the decision to start Tom Seaver in Game Six rather than wait, start George Stone instead, and use Seaver in Game Seven if needed.
