The New Deluxe Big Boy rules

The Big Boy is the only New Deluxe razor I own. I've had it for about a month but today was the first time I shaved with it. All I can say is what a great shave. I used an Astra blade and AOS cream which gave a smooth, close shave. The blade gap seems just about right and the extra weight of the Big Boy does all the work. Now I know why some of the guys love the Deluxe. It's a shame that the De Luxe series was so short lived and what's available is so high priced. Everybody should be able to try one.

Well, the New De Luxe is AsylumGuido's favorite and I am sure he must have tried every Gillette known to man! You can't recommend a razor more highly than that!

The handle and the head are attached just like your New Improved Big Fellow and the Old Type. I think this is how all the New De Luxe razors are built. I don't know for sure though as this is the only De Luxe I have. I also have the exact same razor and wooden case as you do. I also have the New Big Boy which uses the standard New long tooth comb head and with that one you can exchange handles with the common New handle.

I have an Old Type Big Fellow coming in and as soon as it's in shape I'll post some photos comparing the four different Big Boy/Big Fellows that I have.
