Quite innovative design !
I’m not aware of another razor
to have sliding mechanism at the
bars.so that the latter can be expanded or retracted.
While the blade remains vice-like
clamped ,close to it’s edges.

For an adjustable ,made from 316L
steel for sure the razor is quite lightweight .Just 5 grams over the 100
grams mark .

Still the handle’s dimensions are not
of my liking .Very short and thin handle,for my hands.

The design also is not of my
liking .Seems like a souvenir from
last deep space voyage with the starship Enterprise.
Too futuristic ,for my taste.
But again ,
that’s just my own personal taste.

I would have thought “Why not? “,
but then only if the Lupo did not exist ...

Nice razor but I can’t justify the cost. Too rich for my blood. Then again, I just spent almost as much for a piece of plastic stuffed with Chinese rodent hair, so to each their own!

Looks really cool and unique, unlike almost every ''new'' type of razor that we see on the market these days. They really put a lot of effort, time and skill into that razor to make it really unique. It's too pricey for me though and I have way too many razors to satisfy my itch.

Same, but it is very cool to see an actual new razor design. Adjustable, sure. But totally different than anything else I have seen.

I wasn't interested until you mentioned the Starship Enterprise! All I can say is that is definitely a unique design! Great idea but too rich for my blood.

I like it, I would like one. I don't have a Tatara, but this would be the perfect one, having the best of both worlds and everything in-between from the Nodachi to the Masamune.

I do however, question the price point. It's like they've added up the two aforementioned razors and consolidated into one price, a "2 for One" deal except it isn't a deal. High $300's you can get a titanium razor, or a basic Wolfman, or a Rex Ambassador and have over a hundred left over for software, etc. I would like to see $349 but that is not my call. Perhaps the price is justified, as filing for patents are not cheap.

This design concept is really very good. The moment I saw the video, I also had the idea of "super want", I even watched the video more than three times, I also liked the vision of the digital hole very much.

But the price was really out of the acceptable range.

I love my Tatara Masamune. I think this design looks cool. But the price is absurd. Realistically, I would shave at the low gap/low exposure end anyway, so why pay for an adjustable when I already have the fixed gap that works?

The sliding base plate system to adjust blade exposure is wild. I've never seen anything like it. Brilliant idea.

I'd love to try it, but it's definitely more money than I'm willing to spend on a razor.
