Best soap: Tabac. Proraso green tub is a tie.
Best cream: TOBS rose. Proraso green tube is a tie.
Interestingly enough, my skin does not like TOBS avocado, and I feel dry with it. All other soaps, even MWF and L'Occitane CADE made my face feel dry. Worst offender was Trumper's rose. Not better than bath soap on me.

Provence Sante'. I have Nancy Boy and TOBS Avocado which I like very much, but when it comes to moisture and glide, Provence Sante' rules my shave den.
MWF and Palmolive stick.
I totally agree with the Taylor's Avocado! After a 3 pass shave, my face feels great! Love the stuff! I wish it was sold locally.
Taylor's Avocado is what I compare others to. Has not taken second place yet. Still looking for another to just tie it.

Tabula Rasa. Lots of shea butter.
When it comes to creams I'll suggest Godrej Deluxe shave cream.
Its' got lanolin in it.

Fitjar creams for me, they also contain shea butter and their moisturisation properties are out of this world.
Of the soaps I have tried, Pre de Provence.
Cella, Crema Sapone Extra Extra Purissima and Acca Kappa 1869.

Nancy Boy Replenishing is amazing.
It doesn't get mentioned much but I've also found Speick cream to be extremely moisturing for me.
