The longevity of a lizard

For the past 3 or 4 summers I have noticed this gecko living on my home office window ledge. It's a nice daily distraction to see him. How long do these lizards live?

I don't think that's a gecko...they usually have fatter, shorter tails, and sticky feet. That looks like a green anole. They are fairly common in the south/southeast US, and are very territorial...they will stake a claim on an area, and stay for years. The green ones are native to the US as well, and there's about 300 species worldwide. They are related to iguanas, but are WAY smaller and faster, lol.

EDIT: Looks like 40 Cal and I agree on the species, lol...
