Fortunately my better half does not mind me smoking a pipe in the house. Much like Icarus, I flew too close to the sun. Now she has smelled Nightcap when I smoked a bowl on the porch, but never indoors. It was raining and cold, but I wanted a bowl. I lit up and she went upstairs for a few minutes. She said she smelled something horrible and opened up a few windows. When she got to me, she said “that’s the smell”. “I always thought your pipe tobacco smelled good till now”. I sheepishly empties the bowl after five minutes of a smoke and apologized. I jokingly asked her where I am suppose to smoke this English blend. Her response? “Outside”
