Sorry if this is out of place. I tried to PM Graydog but somehow the message is closed and he can't read it. I have a piece of cherry wood from the trunk of a tree in my yard that died. It is from the graft union area so it may have some characteristics of burl. I gave the trunk to a friend who tried making a bowl but there wasn't enough usable wood and he returned that chunk to me. It is about 5 1/2" in diameter (roughly turned) and 3 1/2" tall. Would you like to see if you can make anything from it?View attachment 1233946
