Ok! Well after seeing your SOTD picture just yet - I think we have a winner that knocked the shave ball out of the park! WOW!Ah, that would be the World's Finest Handle, the inspiration for my GT Series.

Not brown nosing or anything, but I think the GT design is better. Neck is too fat on the WF, and too much flat on the rear end!Ah, that would be the World's Finest Handle, the inspiration for my GT Series.

I agree.
Yeah, well the GT was supposed to be an improvement over the WFH, and lighter. Not brown nosing or anything, but I think the GT design is better. Neck is too fat on the WF, and too much flat on the rear end!

What's the diameter of the new handle, Doug?
It looks pretty fat and maybe 80 mm in length. I'd guess a diameter of around 14 mm. Maybe 15.
It is very nice looking. I'm glad to see you playing with your toys, my friend.

I'm actually thinking of adding a plug to the end for better balance...It looks awesome Doug!
If I might suggest you something, try to make a version with the final 'thick' ring made of SS. To match the color of a SS head and to add a little weight to the 33g of the full brass WF.
Hmmm, I do have a couple of aluminum center sections I tested the new knurling tool on that need some additional machine work and assembly.Doug, has @Mike M contacted you? A heavy handle is keeping his Lupo 0.95SB from being “The One.”

All three handles on the left are 14.3mm, but only three of them are 78mm long. Can you spot the handle the 76.5mm long handle?
~doug~
Good eyes, Jim.Thanks, Doug.
Far right is the shortest?
(At least that's a SSWAG.)
14.3 is a very good diameter.
Happy shaves,
Jim
Extra weight for balance, and I wanted it a little longer.Extra weight added at the end? Or is that permanent?
