I started with one of these as my first fountain pen set. Since then I've seen many in garage sales and thrift stores. I guess many people think just having the pen will transform their writing into works of art then get disinterested in learning the technique.

For such a young person that is great hand writing that is dying off for some reason, printing is taught more & more.
If you can write and print you can not go wrong, if you can only print you have lost another way of communicating IMO. Very nice to see great hand writing skills!

Thank you for the kind words. It’s getting better after working on it for the last few days but I still find myself having to slow down or stop to remember how to make the letters and words...and that throws my concentration off which makes me ramble. Lol

Tankerjohn, your writing with that pen is not very good. It’s not easy to read it.
I got most of it and when I re-read it I think I worked it all out. Good job though. I have not ventured to try my talents lately but I think I will and see what others think. Well I know what they would think. Chicken scratch. Keep it up.
