I placed an order during the weekend for a Chatsworth razor. I'm on the US, and I noticed that VAT wasn't deducted from the credit card transaction.

They corrected and refunded me the VAT, but be careful and ensure that you are being charged the right amounts.

The S&H has always been quite reasonable when I have ordered from them, especially considering it is international.

Another tip - it is usually cheaper to buy the items in pounds or euros and have your credit card convert it to $$$ (you pay a small fee). It's not huge, but you save more with the more you buy. Usually knocks a couple bucks off the total transaction, especially if you are buying a bigger item like a razor, brush, etc. Just compare their prices in different currencies and the current exchange rates at xe.com

Depends on what you order. I have seen free shipping from them before and I took full advantage. However, from what I have seen thus far, it is either 15% or free ship on their promos... never together. Obviously, free shipping is best for soap and less expensive items but if you were buying a couple bottles of Penhaligon's you might come out better with this 15% deal. That's what I would be doing if Penhaligon's would get off their butts and send the sample set I ordered a month ago.
