The Elusive Morel anyone finding them?

I found five itty bitty greys Friday in Missouri

My great aunt's old place had an old sawmill on the property, one that my great uncle worked on back in the 30s. They would grow plentifully in that old saw dust. This was Ava, Missouri. Man those things were delicious.

Down in our parts of Texas...well i don't know if we have them growing wild. Maybe up in East Texas. Which is a billion mile miles from Central Texas.
 
ours are very dark in Washington. they tend to grow in places that burnt.... typically east of the cascade mountains. they are hard to spot. I like chantrelles as they are so bright they are easy to pick out visually in the woods
