The Eagle's First Set-Up

So many of you have wondered aloud which soap, razor, cream, etc., you will use for your first go-around when you receive your Eagle.

This thread is dedicated to photos of your Eagle's first set-up. Consider it your Eagle's baby pictures.

So don't forget when your Eagle arrives to post a pic of your Eagle's first set-up.

So a special, Eagle-themed SOTD? I need to plan this, but in my mind it's already pretty much set.

I going to keep this simple for myself - only use tried-and-true products. Here is my planned SOTD for the Eagle's inaugural use:

Tabac / Simpson Eagle III in Best / Wade & Butcher Extra Hollow Ground / Alt Innsbruck AS / Nivea ASB

It's going to be awesome.

I am going to stick with my favorite. Harris Arlington soap and aftershave, Pils with a Feather and the Eagle. When I ordered the eagle I threw in Harris Arlington soap puck and a lavender shave stick. Last week my Arlington aftershave tapped out on me and that should be replaced when the Eagle arrives.

I will use the Eagle first with my tried and true set-up; MWF, "40s Superspeed , an Iridium blade and Speick ASL to finish it off.

I've been thinking about this. I think I'll go with my much-loved Fatboy (gift from my grandfather), new Feather blade, MWF, DB 1.5 scuttle, Thayer's, then Alt-Innsbruck ASB and AS. I've been letting the beard go since Saturday in anticipation.
