Lady Darwins and 'regular' Darwins?

I know that the Lady Darwin razors are smaller and have shorter handles; but do they also only accept smaller blades?

I ask because I'm looking to buy or trade for a Dawrin DE, and I was tentatively offered a Lady Darwin. I don't want to buy it if it's going to be useless to me, of course.

Any help you Darwin guys can give me would be appreciated.

The lady's Darwin is called Darwin Bijou and takes a special blade. Here is my Bijou beside my Darwin Deluxe.

She's a gorgeous little thing but she's not what your looking for.

Will a corn blade fit the Bijoux?

I tried the Merkur corn blade in my Bijou and the holes on the blades are just a tiny bit too small to fit it.

It's possible that they might fit a different Bijou due to the way the Darwins vary some from one to the other.

Thanks. I guess I will try these. Don't like merkur much thought. Will try tweezerman or others. Will a corn blade be able to shave my face ?
