The Dallas duo return...

Howdy,

Lucy and I actually arrived back in England last Monday, but went on a family vacation on Tuesday. Anyway back to work today and school starts again for Lucy on Wednesday.

We both had an amazing time in Dallas, the usual warm welcome we recieve on any visit to the United States, but with that Texas courtesy & politeness thrown in on top.

The shaving event was real success, it was great to meet Steve, Jeff, Richard and Ron after years of communicating via email and forums.

Hopefully more shaving events in 2007, wherever you see Castle Forbes on sale in a Saks department store.

Regards, Robert

Hello,

What Ron didn't say is that he drove over three hours to visit Dallas, something I found very impressive!!!

I'm afraid I didn't see much of Texas, mostly from the air, but I intend making this my first trip of many to your state. We bought Alex, my son, a toy Armadillo with the words, "Don't mess with Texas" written on the side. How very true.

The next CF shaving event is likely to be in Houston, Space Centre here I come...

Regards, Robert

3 hours is nothing for us down here in the lone star state. Heck, I used to have a 1 1/2 hour commute each way when I worked in downtown Dallas.

Oklahoma is basically just a suburb of Dallas anyway  .

PS: Boomer Sooner, pass it on.

Saved by the APPROPRIATE CODA!:001_wub: Just as a point in fact, here in the Belt Buckle of the Bible Belt we call the former Republic of Tejas, Baja Oklahoma.
