Nice set up @Twelvefret .
I finally picked up a Schick Injector I just need to get blades for it. So that will be a part of my Daily Double soon.
I did a quike shave with my MMCP, Gem ptfe 3 flip and my new to me Gillette new long comb, KAI 6th use. And the little brush wasn't to impresive it sheds alot and even with Cella I had a hard time lathering.

Amazon has the Schick "Chick" blades.
Very nice DD today with those two iconic razors.
Thank you. I was going to search some threads to see what you have recommend as a good blade to start with in the past, but you saved me the trouble.
It was a nice shave but with one day growth not much of a test for the new to me Gillette. More just for the fun it today.

I had a dueling open comb Duo today.
Gem MMOC vs Gillette fat handle new longcomb. Gem stainless ptfe 4th flip and a KAI 7th use. With no markings on the KAI blades I'm not sure how to track whether I'm actually flipping it or not. Arko mixed with a Dragons blood goats milk shave soap took care of the lather with my black badger.
The result was CCs. With the trouble spots on my neck that's all I look for.

It's fun using more than one razor. And like you have mentioned some razors are better for certain parts of the shave.
Had a good shave this morning with my Star on baton handle with a 5th flip Gem ptfe blade and my Gillette super adjustable with a KAI blade I have been using for months. Cella and black badger worked up a good lather in the mug I got at an antique store with a recent purchase. Another enjoyable shave, I really like the handling of that Star razor with the chunky baton handle, although I am considering adding a small amount of weight to it.
Today's daily double, Gem MMCP with gem ptfe blade 6th flip and Schick Injector with chick blade second use.
This Two Band Badger from Maggards in a Bocote handle is amazing. I face lathered for the first time today, and didn't want to stop. Cella has been nice but I thought the scent was to mild till today, something about face lathering made the scent much stronger.
It seems though, for me I have to choose between CCs or BBS with a bit of irritation.

That's a sweet Goodwill.
Today's Daily Double Gem MMCP with 8th flip gem ptfe. And a first shave with a Gillette old type for me, with an 8th use KAI blade. And two band badger with Cella, hot towel prep with Proraso pre and after shave for a CCs nearly BBS.

Two classic tools, brotherman. Nice choice!! Looks like the fat cap version on that OT?
It shaved very well, how thin is the thin cap.
I will have to compare it to the other one I have to see if they are the same. I wasn't aware there where different ones.
