The coolest looking brush handle you own

Time to make a decision. Which is the coolest handle in your collection. No fantasy handles, here. You must have actually captured it in the wild. (When I finally find myself that genuine ivory beehive I have pictured in my mind you guys will be first to know. )

I cant decide at the moment out of these two. A 30's Simpson with butterscotch and translucent Bakelite.

Or this humble Fuller, which is a great colour and an interesting shape...

I think I will go with the RubberSet 203 I just finished as my coolest.

The lower shave cream compartment added to the cool factor for me.

Assume coolest isn't about performance but just about look/feel/emotion ..............

Think it's got to be my ( still only 99% sure ) mammoth ivory brush though it doesn't get much action because I'm still not happy with the UK super knot in it.

Think my new brush vintage bone is pretty cool too ( will be cooler once it's knotted with a new knot )

Is there some sort of pattern here in terms of handle material ???

That poor knot! I mean, I see pics all the time of brushes that have been through the wringer but there's something about that one that just makes it look so funny I just had a hearty laugh!

You need to restore that handle's pride with a new knot ASAP!

I also speculated that the lower compartment could be used to smuggle microfilm of Soviet documents across the border back in the day....

Not really sure if the lower part was really ever meant as a container for anything but it seems ideal for a few days worth of some decent shave cream.

That Drake does need some new hair...and if you can retain the lower compartment all the better.

Yes it is. My favorite cartoon my WHOLE childhood was the Rabbit of Seville. You were not going to win it. I'd have sold organs to get that thing. I got lucky and had zero competition. I'm going to restore the paint job, reseal and reknot (someone ripped the center of the current knot out).
