I remember first reading about these escape training tanks in a book about submarines, interestingly published in 1941. The Navy at that time taught submerged escape techniques using crude (by today’s standards) Momsen lungs.

My smoke this morning, the first in several days, featured Edgeworth Match in my Stanwell straight billiard. Mild, cool, wonderful aroma. Whenever I smoke a codger blend, I wonder once again why I want to try anything else.

Finally got around to dipping into my remaining old PA stash after so many months. I remembered again why I‘ve enjoyed this easy standard for so many decades. For me, it just smokes right and tastes right. Like Mrs. Columbo’s tried-and-true meatloaf recipe on a cold winter evening. Even the tub note says “welcome home”.
